Competition

The Studio Awards

There is limited targeted marketing required. The goal here is to target 30 Local Studios in 4 sectors to make up the studios competing at The Studio Awards. Each studio can sign up individual routines and performers to make up their teams' rosters in 4 age divisions and 4 performance divisions.

There is a limit of 400 routines per convention. Routines are recorded from 3 angles in high quality. Recordings will be available for purchase by the studio and performers after the show. Each routine is judged and critiqued by our panel of 4 judges. The performers can find their critiques and scores in our app after the performance to follow up with the competition's progress and to hear the judges' critiques.

Performers will be awarded awards in these categories: Performance, Video, Spoken Word, and Dance. And they will be divided into 4 age categories: LIL, JUNIOR, TEEN, & PRO

There will be Adjudicated Awards, Placement Awards, and Special Awards Categories. The top performers will make our television show, “Ingredience Awards Show!”

Workshops

There are two days of 5-subject 6-hour workshops. The workshop subjects are Writing, Dance, Performance, Vocal Technique, and Improv. Each of the 4 age divisions will attend each workshop once per day. The workshops will focus on independently perfecting one final routine. Each attendee will learn the same choreography in Dance, fine-tune their own pre-written 8 bars of verse in Writing, and master stage presence and etiquette in Performance. They will learn voice anatomy and breath control in Vocal Technique and flawless freestyling tools in Improv.

Attending the workshops will inherently result in attaining invaluable knowledge and expertise. However, those auditioning will use the routine they’ve learned in the workshops for the Prodigy Tour Auditions during the Performance workshops on the second day.

The audition performers will be broken up into groups and The Studio Awards faculty will evaluate. Students in each age group will be chosen by the faculty. The selected students will be announced at the end of the audition as "The Studio Awards Prodigies!"

Prodigies will win one Workshop Scholarship to The Studio Awards 2023, one Track on The Studio Awards MIXTAPE! 2022, one Production Deal, and eligibility to perform in The Studio Awards Regional Tour 2022.

Events

The Content Camp

The Content Camp is a unique event where performers can have virtual performances recorded. Multicam shots are set up in unique environments. The use of live video mixing makes it manageable for us, and affordable for the customer. The resulting product will be great material for the upcoming Ingredience Virtual Event. Content Camp has three purposes; training our video staff, creating content for the upcoming Ingredience Virtual, and promoting Ingredience and The Studio Awards. We will host 3 Content Camps before April.
